Referral Partnership Terms

We love when clients send people our way. To say thanks, we offer account credits to both sides of every successful referral. Here’s how it works — and the fine print.

How it works

When someone you refer becomes a paying Go Carpathian client and stays active for 30 days:

  • You get a credit applied to your next monthly invoice.
  • They get the same credit applied to their next monthly invoice.

Credit amount depends on the role placed:

Credits are account credits — not cash, payments, refunds, or rebates. They reduce a future Go Carpathian invoice and have no cash value. If a role spans tiers, we’ll classify it in good faith based on its primary scope.

How to refer someone

  1. Email us at hello@gocarpathian.com with the referral’s name, company, and contact info — ideally before they reach out to us.
  2. We confirm receipt and log the referral.
  3. Once they sign, pay, and complete 30 days as an active client, both credits post on the next invoice.

That’s it. No portal, no codes, no forms.

Heads up: credits issued at day 30 remain subject to reversal through day 90 if the referred client cancels, refunds, or charges back (see below).

When credits don’t apply

A few situations where a referral won’t qualify or a credit may be reversed:

  • Already in our pipeline. The referred party has been in contact with Go Carpathian, received a proposal, or been pitched by our team within the prior 12 months.
  • Late notification. Ideally we hear from you before the referred party reaches out. If they contact us first, we’ll still honor the referral as long as you flag it in writing within 7 days of their first contact and we hadn’t already pitched or proposed to them.
  • Self-referrals or related entities. You can’t refer yourself, a business you own or control, a parent or subsidiary, or any entity sharing common ownership with you.
  • The referred party doesn’t pay or stay active. Credits are issued only after the referred client has signed an agreement, paid for the placement or first month of service, and remained an active client for at least 30 days.
  • Cancellation, refund, or chargeback within 90 days. If the referred client cancels, requests a refund, or charges back within 90 days of placement, both credits are reversed.
  • Replacement placements. If a placement ends within our standard replacement window and we replace the hire, the original referral credit stands as long as the replacement also clears 30 days as an active placement. A replacement does not generate an additional credit on top of the original.
  • Existing client expansion. Adding a second or additional hire for a client already working with Go Carpathian is not a referral.
  • Go Carpathian team members. Employees, contractors, founders, and their immediate family members are not eligible.
  • Direct competitors. Other talent placement, staffing, or recruiting firms operating in our markets are excluded — both as referrers and as referred parties. If there’s any question, we’ll let you know up front.
  • Stacking with other offers. Referral credits can’t be combined with other discounts, promotions, or partner agreements unless we approve it in writing.
  • Fraud or abuse. Any attempt to game the program — fake referrals, coordinated self-dealing, misrepresenting role scope to claim a higher tier, etc. — voids all credits and ends your participation in the program.
  • Legal or contractual conflict. If accepting a credit would violate the referrer’s employment agreement, vendor policy, or applicable law, the credit can’t be issued. That’s on the referrer to confirm.

Credit terms

  • Credits apply only against Go Carpathian invoices (placement fees or monthly service fees).
  • Credits are not cash, payments, refunds, or rebates, have no cash value, and are non-transferable.
  • Credits expire 12 months after issue if unused.
  • A credit can’t exceed the value of an invoice — unused balance carries forward to the next invoice but never becomes a cash payout.
  • Credits are a discount on services. The referrer is responsible for any reporting obligations on their end.

Other things to know

  • No cap on referrals. You can refer as many qualifying clients as you want.
  • We may modify or end this program at any time. Changes apply going forward; credits already earned at the time of the change will be honored under the terms in place when the referral was made.
  • Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
